Peter Mortimer is a playwright, poet, editor and journalist who has been closely involved with the North East literary scene since the early 1970s. He has written 22 plays, is the founder and artistic director of Cloud Nine Theatre Productions, the founder and editor of Iron Press, and a former theatre critic and satirical columnist.
